CARLISLE, Pa. (WHTM) – Another warehouse is going up along Interstate 81 in Cumberland County.
The new facility in South Middleton Township is expected to create 100 new jobs once businesses lease the space.
This is one of several warehouses going up in the county, but developers say truck traffic and pollution won’t be a problem.
“They really are clean operations. There are no manufacturing or smoke stacks,” Eugene Preston of Dermody Properties said. “Sometimes people think of industrial buildings that way. This is primarily a distribution location for companies that are waiting to serve the local region.”
Construction is expected to be completed by September.
