Lancaster man dies after crash into milk tanker

HOLTWOOD, Pa. (WHTM) – A Lancaster man was fatally injured Wednesday night when he crashed into a milk tanker truck in Martic Township.

Daniel Doster, 29, died overnight at Lancaster General Hospital after the crash at 8:20 p.m. in the 100 block of Drytown Road, state police in Lancaster said in a news release.

Police said the truck driver went into the opposite lane of travel to make a right turn and could not return to his lane in time when he saw Doster’s car approaching. Doster struck the rear of the tanker.

Police said their investigation is ongoing.
