Man wanted for robbery, assault in Lancaster

LANCASTER, Pa. (WHTM) – Police are looking for a homeless man wanted for a robbery and assault.

Thomas Gerlitzki, 43, struck another man on the back of his head with a metal pipe and stole cash from the victim Feb. 24, according to Lancaster police.

The victim was able to walk into a business for help. He was treated at a hospital for significant injuries to the head.

Gerlitzki has since been charged with robbery and aggravated assault, and police have a warrant for his arrest.
