Fire damages vacant Millersburg house

MILLERSBURG, Pa. (WHTM) – A fire early Monday heavily damaged a vacant house in northern Dauphin County.

Millersburg Fire Chief Doug Snyder said the fire caused about $250,000 in damage to the house at 614 Berryhill Road in Upper Paxton Township.

No one was living in the home while it was being remodeled.

The home was engulfed in flames when the fire department arrived at 2:30 a.m.

The cause of the fire is under investigation. It is not considered suspicious.

No firefighters were injured.
