FELTON, Pa. (WHTM) – A driver was injured when an SUV rear-ended a school bus this morning in York County.
The crash occurred just before 8 a.m. at the intersection of Delta and New Bridgeville roads in Chanceford Township.
The school bus serves the Red Lion School District. No students were on board.
The York Daily Record reported that the bus was on its way to pick up students to transport to Clearview Elementary School.
A school spokeswoman told the newspaper that the bus was heading south on Delta Road and turning left onto New Bridgeville Road when the other vehicle struck it from behind.
State police said the bus driver was admitted to York Hospital after complaining of neck and back pain.
