Turkey Hill robbed again in East Hempfield

LANCASTER, Pa. (WHTM) – A Turkey Hill Minit Market in East Hempfield Township was robbed early Monday for the second time in a week.

Police said they are investigating whether the incidents at 1503 Columbia Avenue were committed by the same person.

In both cases, a robber demanded cash from a clerk but did not display a weapon.

On Monday, a bandit entered the store at around 1:11 a.m. wearing a blue and grey windbreaker jacket and blue jeans. Last Tuesday, the robber had on a gray hoodie when he fled with money from the register around 2:40 a.m.

No one has been injured.

Anyone with information is asked to call East Hempfield Police Detective David Bender at 717-898-3103.
