Suspect charged in West York burglaries, thefts

WEST YORK, Pa. (WHTM) – A York County man has been charged in several garage burglaries and thefts during a two-month crime spree in the West York area.

Kyle Kline, 24, of West Manchester Township, is suspected in seven garage burglaries and two thefts from vehicles since January 20, West York police said in a news release Monday.

A search of his home last month turned up thousands of dollars worth of stolen items, police said.

Kline was charged with seven counts of burglary, two counts of theft from a motor vehicle, nine counts of theft by unlawful taking, and two counts of receiving stolen property.

Investigators said they have stolen property they would like to return to the rightful owners. West York residents who live along Monroe Street and West Market Street should check their garages and vehicles and report any stolen items to the police department at 717-854-1975.
