Carlisle man gets 6 years for heroin trafficking

HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) – A Carlisle man will spend more than six years in a federal prison on drug trafficking charges.

Mark Allen Parks Jr., 34, was sentenced in U.S. District Court to 78 months.

According to U.S. Attorney Peter Smith, Parks supplied heroin to people in Franklin and Cumberland counties from October 2013 to April 2014.

He was indicted by a grand jury in May and pleaded guilty in August.
