CARLISLE, Pa. (WHTM) – A certified nursing assistant is facing charges after police said she stole jewelry from sleeping senior citizens.
North Middleton Township police said 33-year-old Laneice Baker of Fayetteville was working at the Church of God Home when she stole wedding bands and other jewelry from elderly residents during the overnight hours.
Police said Baker and her fiance, 32-year-old Dwayne Banks, pawned everything they stole.
Baker worked at the home from November to February.
She was charged with six counts of theft, six counts of receiving stolen property and 12 counts of conspiracy.
Banks was charged with six counts of receiving stolen property and conspiracy.
