LANCASTER, Pa. (WHTM) – A snow plow driver helped police arrest two people on charges they were stealing from vehicles in Lancaster County.
Manheim Township police said a resident of the 700 block of Skyline Drive saw a young man and woman pulling on car handles and entering several vehicles Tuesday night.
Responding officers found three unlocked vehicles had been entered and items had been taken, so they passed a description of the suspects on to the township’s Public Works crews, police said.
A plow driver soon noticed two people matching the descriptions in the 1000 block of Marshall Avenue and radioed officers, who responded and arrested 18-year-old Isaiah W. Pabon of Lancaster and a 15-year-old girl from New York.
Pabon was charged with three counts of theft from a motor vehicle, false identification to law enforcement, and corruption of minors.
The unidentified girl was charged with three counts of theft from a motor vehicle and turned over to the Lancaster County Youth Intervention Center.
