Turnpike reopens after truck crash near Blue Mountain Tunnel

NEWBURG, Pa. (WHTM) – A 65-mile section of the Pennsylvania Turnpike between the Breezewood and Carlisle interchanges has reopened following a tractor-trailer crashed that closed the eastbound lanes.

The highway reopened at around 11:30 a.m., more than two hours after the truck overturned and blocked the eastbound lanes at mile marker 200.4 near the Blue Mountain Tunnel.

No one was injured.

The roadway is now clear and eastbound traffic is once again moving.
