This time of year, people start garden planning. The Pa. Garden Expo has dozens of vendors to help inspire you. At the very least, it is a great cure for the winter blues.
The show runs all weekend, February 27 and 28 and March 1 at the Pa. Farm Show Complex in Harrisburg.
It is the largest and longest running garden event in central Pennsylvania.
Visitors can stroll through the gorgeous, professionally-landscaped gardens, shop the streets of market faire, or learn something new at the “DIY Stage”. Be sure to stop by the “presentation stage” for appearances by a wide variety of experienced garden pros.
General admission is $13 at the door. Senior Day is Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and tickets are $8 for ages 55 & over. Heroes night is Friday 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., and all military (active duty and veterans), police, firefighters and first responders are free. Kids 12 and under get in free. After 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday, tickets are $5.
