Harrisburg Senators announce change in ownership

HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) – The Harrisburg Senators announced Wednesday that Mark Butler, the president and CEO of Ollie’s Bargain Outlet, will become the principal owner and managing partner of the Minor League Baseball club.

Butler will replace former majority owner Michael Reinsdorf, president and COO  of the Chicago Bulls, who will retain a minority ownership interest.

Butler is known as an excellent promoter and it is anticipated he will continue to bring more fun and family-friendly events to Metro Bank Park on City Island, the baseball club said in a news release.

The Harrisburg Senators are the Minor League Baseball AA affiliate of the Washington Nationals.
