HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) – Two Harrisburg teenagers are headed to trial on homicide charges stemming from a fatal shooting in the city last year.
Tamir Williams, 17, waived his preliminary hearing Wednesday and allowed charges of criminal homicide and criminal conspiracy to commit homicide to proceed to Dauphin County Court.
His co-defendant, 18-year-old Jamoni Anderson, was held for court on charges of criminal homicide, criminal conspiracy to commit homicide, and illegal possession of a firearm following his hearing.
Formal arraignments are scheduled April 7.
The two are charged in the killing of 21-year-old Maurice Geter, a former Bishop McDevitt High School football and basketball player who died after he was shot in the chest Nov. 19 in the 200 block of North 15th Street.
Williams is charged as an adult.
