HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM)–The former director of the Office of Open Records is headed to court Wednesday to try to get his job back.
Erik Arneson was appointed by former governor Tom Corbett before he left office. Governor Wolf fired him just days after being sworn in.
Arneson and Senate Republicans filed a lawsuit against Wolf last month claiming the firing was not justified.
Wolf said Arneson’s appointment was not transparent.
Wednesday’s hearing will be held at Commonwealth Court at 10:00 a.m.
