Boy, 7, struck by vehicle at Manheim Township elementary school

LANCASTER, Pa. (WHTM) – A 7-year-old boy was struck by a vehicle Wednesday morning at the Nitrauer Elementary School in Manheim Township, according to police.

The child, a first grade student at Nitrauer, was hit at around 9 a.m.

He was transported to Lancaster General Hospital by ambulance and later flown to Pen State Hershey Medical Center by Life Lion.

Police said his condition is unknown and the cause of the accident is under investigation.
