Police arrest man after argument led to shots fired in Carlisle

CARLISLE, Pa. (WHTM) – A man is behind bars after police say he fired 5 gunshots at a person during an argument Sunday morning in Carlisle.

It happened around 8:45 a.m. on the 100 block of North Hanover Street.

Investigators say Antoine Nathaniel Pugh was engaged in an argument when he pulled out a small handgun and fired 5 rounds at a person’s feet.

According to authorities, Pugh fled the area but was chased and detained by the victim until police arrived.

Police found a loaded handgun in an alley off East Louther Street where the victim had caught and held Pugh.

Pugh faces charges of simple assault, recklessly endangering, and carrying a firearm without a license.
