UPDATE: Boil water advisory lifted in Harrisburg neighborhood

HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) – Capital Region Water has lifted a boil water advisory that affected 40 properties at 1250 Walnut Street, the 100 block of Balm Street, and the 100 block of Linden Street.

The boil water advisory was issued Thursday due to a loss of water pressure during repairs to a six-inch main in the 100 block of Balm Street.

The repair is complete and service has been restored, the company said.

Customers in the affected area should boil their water before drinking, making ice, washing dishes, brushing teeth and food preparation.

Capital Region Water will notify customers when the advisory is lifted.
