With one round left of snow in the weekend forecast, those at Ski Roundtop are ready.
Managers hoped the winter weather Friday night into Saturday morning would put people in the skiing spirit, but not make the roads too treacherous to travel.
“When there’s snow in people’s backyards they kind of go, ‘yeah let’s go skiing!’ So we are excited about that,” Ski Roundtop Marketing Director Chris Dudding said.
Not to mention, the extra snow put a nice layer of power on the slopes.
Those at Roundtop are looking forward to Sunday/Monday’s forecasted snowfall, and urged those who are interested in visiting to take it slow getting there during both winter weather events.
“We just want people to know just take your time, the road crews do a good job cleaning things up. Take your time and come on out and enjoy it,” Dudding said.
