Police: Harrisburg man made threats to kill officers on Facebook

HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) – A Harrisburg man was arrested after police said he threatened to kill officers on Facebook.

Joseph Clyde McCabe, 50, wrote on Jan. 13 that he was “going to buy a gun and kill a cop,” and on Jan. 15 he posted, “I’m going to buy a gun next month so I can kill cops,” state police said in a news release.

He was charged with terroristic threats and harassment.
