Middletown family killed in I-70 crash

WASHINGTON COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) – Three people were killed in a crash Friday night on Interstate 70 near Pittsburgh.

According to WTAE News, the 3 people were from Middletown. The coroner says A minivan with two passengers hit the rear end of a tractor-trailer, then came to rest in the median barrier and caught fire.

Investigators say two cars and a tractor trailer were involved in the crash on Interstate 70 West in Washington County.

According to the coroner, the driver, 57-year-old Frank Kramer, and two passengers, 52-year-old Kristy Kramer, and 22-year-old Taylor Kramer died on scene.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
