Lancaster man charged with attempted homicide in shooting

LANCASTER, Pa. (WHTM) – A Lancaster man has been arrested in connection to a shooting that critically injured another man Monday afternoon.

Christian Williams, 18, was taken into custody early Friday and arraigned on charges of attempted homicide, aggravated assault and related offenses, city police said in a news release.

Williams is accused of shooting another 18-year-old Lancaster man in the 400 block of East King Street.

The victim, who was not identified, was suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the torso when he was transported to a hospital where he underwent surgery and was listed in critical, but stable condition.

Williams was committed to Lancaster County Prison on $2.5 million bail.
