Man robbed, assaulted in Carlisle

CARLISLE, Pa. (WHTM) – Carlisle police are investigating an incident where a man was assaulted and robbed.

The victim told officers he was walking on Cemetery Avenue behind a fast food restaurant when he was jumped by two males in a navy blue, older model vehicle around 5:13 p.m. Saturday.

He said the robbers took his cell phone, a pack of cigarettes and his shoes, according to a police news release.

Both robbers were described as being short, between 5’1″ and 5’3″ tall, with with stocky builds, facial tattoos and lip piercings.

No weapons were displayed.

The victim suffered facial injuries during the assault and required medical attention at a hospital.
