Attempted child luring reported in Harrisburg

HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) – Police are investigating a report of an attempted child luring in Harrisburg.

City police said the driver of a dark green minivan approached a girl in the 2300 block of Susquehanna Street and attempted to get her to come to him while he was in the vehicle.

The incident reportedly occurred Saturday at 4:46 p.m.

The driver was described as a light complected black male wearing prescription eyeglasses, a cream colored knit cap, and a gray and white puffy jacket, police said in a news release.

He had an unknown passenger wearing a red jacket in the front seat.
