MECHANICSBURG, Pa. (WHTM) – Faulkner on the Carlisle Pike in Silver Spring Township is expanding.
“We are doing a lot of development a lot of new things for the community here in Silver Spring Township and we are just excited to be over here,” said Jack Oyler, president of Faulkner Cadillac.
The dealership plans to build a new Cadillac dealership and to convert the former Sutliff Cadillac along Commerce Drive into a Dodge Ram facility. They have also started construction on a Subaru and Volkswagen facility next to their existing dealership on Carlisle Pike.
Faulkner’s plans also include bringing in high-end, Italian-made Maserati and Alfa Romeo models. The showroom for those will be located at the old Cumberland Valley Motors site.
“This market is an up-and-coming market. People continue to move, especially to the West Shore. It’s got great demographics, high income and we look at it as a great market for the higher end vehicles. We also have the accessibility, with the highways, to bring people in from other areas with 81 and 83 converging all right here,” said Oyler. “People can come to one little mile stretch of road here and see a lot of different vehicles, and I think that is good for everyone.”
The first phase of the project will be done next year.
