A Lebanon County man was arrested after police said he assaulted a woman while he had a 10-month-old child in his arms.
Daniel Eugene Hrishuk, 24, of Bethel Township, punched and licked the 29-year-old woman while he squeezing and holding the baby boy, according to state police in Jonestown.
He then pointed an unloaded shotgun at three other people – a 29-year-old woman, a 45-year-old man and a 30-year-old man – while they tried to remove the infant from his arms and take the gun from him, police said in a news release Friday.
After the gun was removed from his hand, Hrishuk tried to strike the 30-year-old man with a metal hammer, according to the news release.
The incident occurred late Thursday in the 2800 block of Pine Grove Street in Bethel Township.
Hrishuk was taken into custody and jailed on $100,000 bail.
