Cold kitten found outside Lancaster shelter

A kitten was left outside a Lancaster pet shelter during the freezing temperatures overnight.

The kitten was found in a box outside the Pet Pantry of Lancaster County.

A shelter spokesperson said the animal was shivering, but appears to be unharmed despite the cold weather.

The kitten was named “Beefcake” because he was found in an empty beef box.

He will go into a foster home for the next few weeks and will be available for adoption when he is old enough.
