Man assaulted, robbed at Lower Paxton store

A man was assaulted and robbed in the parking lot of a Harrisburg-area home improvement store Friday morning, police said.

Lower Paxton Township police said the victim, a 38-year-old Reading man, had just parked at the Lowe’s on Union Deposit Road when he was attacked and knocked unconscious shortly after 9 a.m.

The robber then took money from his pocket and fled with two others in a black Cadillac.

He was described as a black male with a stocky build who was dressed in all black, police said.

The victim refused treatment.
