A Harrisburg man will spend 20 years in a federal prison for trying to arrange sexual encounters with children.
Matthew Baratucci, 30, was sentenced Thursday in U.S. District Court to 240 months in prison.
He must also pay a $1,100 fine and spend 10 years under supervision following his release.
Baratucci pleaded guilty to coercion and enticement of a minor to engage in sexual activity in May.
Prosecutors said Baratucci offered money to two women if they could arrange for him to have sex with children.
He wanted one of the women to provide young girls she babysat and threatened her with violence if she did not bring the children to him.
When she went to authorities, undercover investigators arranged a meeting where Baratucci would pay $150 in exchange for sex with the 5- and 9-year-old girls.
He was arrested in Oct. 2013 after he arrived at the meeting place, tried to flee, but crashed into a vehicle and was ultimately stopped by authorities.
