Carlisle police have filed charges against four boys who allegedly damaged freshly poured concrete at the Cumberland County Courthouse.
Police said the juveniles caused nearly $1,000 in damage when they etched names, swear words, a derogatory drawings into a recently repaired sidewalk Sept. 18.
Each was charged with criminal mischief.
A passerby contacted officers and reported the youths were damaging the sidewalk, and the boys were caught a short distance away, police said.
The concrete will need to be completely redone, but was temporarily repaired, police said.
