Tiny pests threatening Midstate trees

Trees in the Midstate are under attack by a new, tiny enemy.

The Emerald Ash Borer is a harmful pest that targets trees.

On Thursday, workers with Good’s Tree Care of Harrisburg volunteered to chemically treat trees at South Front Street’s Memorial Garden in Harrisburg.

The chemical protection will save the trees from the bugs.

Emerald Ash Borers came to the US from Asia and were first detected in Detroit.
