A Maryland man has been arrested for the robbery of a Hanover bank.
West Manheim Township police said 39-year-old Wayne Lee Brennan was charged with robbery, theft and receiving stolen property in a June 27 heist at the Santander Bank in the 1700 block of Baltimore Pike.
Brennan was arrested Tuesday following a vehicle pursuit near his hometown of Fort Howard, Maryland where authorities said he rammed two police cruisers.
He was taken to a hospital for medical treatment and later jailed as a fugitive, and for violations of probation and new charges in Maryland.
Brennan is accused of taking money from the bank after handing a note demanding money to a teller.
Police said he was identified through witnesses and tips from the public after bank surveillance photos were released through news and social media.
