Man, 18, injured in Harrisburg shooting

An 18-year-old Harrisburg man was injured in a shooting Thursday afternoon in the area of Jefferson and Schuylkill streets.

Harrisburg police said the victim went to a hospital for treatment of a non-life threatening injury shortly after noon.

Officers had been dispatched to the 2400 block of North Sixth Street for a report of shots fired, but found no evidence of a crime scene during a search of the area.

About a half-hour later, police said the officers received further information that the incident may have occurred at Jefferson and Schuylkill and a crime scene was located.

Investigators are looking for two suspects who were wearing all black clothing.
