York police charge teen injured in shooting

York police have filed charges against one of three teenagers who were injured during an exchange of gunfire Monday evening.

Police said a 17-year-old who was shot in the leg in the 800 block of W. Princess Street provided a false name to officers.

His true identity was learned after he was treated at a hospital, and he was on probation for unrelated offenses.

A 16-year-old boy was hit in the leg and an 18-year-old girl was hit in the arm and leg during the same shooting.

No arrests have been announced.
