Coroner: Lancaster homicide victim was stabbed, strangled

A man found dead in his Lancaster apartment early Wednesday was stabbed multiple times and strangled, according to the coroner.

Lancaster County Coroner Dr. Stephen Diamantoni ruled the death a homicide after an autopsy Thursday.

Police have identified the man as 60-year-old Donald Reinmiller.

Officers said Reinmiller was dead and had visible traumatic injuries when they went to his apartment in the 800 block of N. Lime Street just after 2 a.m.

A friend of the victim had found the body and called police. Authorities said the friend is cooperating with investigators.

No arrests have been announced.
