A Lancaster County motorcyclist has been charged with fleeing and eluding police on Route 30.
Manheim Township police said they filed a criminal complaint against 28-year-old Jordan C. Hogentogler of Marietta for an incident Aug. 6.
An officer tried to stop Hogentogler for a traffic violation on New Holland Avenue at Route 30, but police said he failed to stop and entered Route 30 where he sped away at a high rate of speed while weaving in and out of traffic.
Police said the officer did not pursue, but was able to identify the rider as Hogentogler.
He was also charged with driving under suspension, reckless driving and an equipment violation.
