A Lancaster man was arrested after police said he fired at least two shots from a handgun and forced a woman into his home during a domestic incident early Friday.
Ryan Singh, 43, was taken into custody after officers entered the home in the 300 block of Beaver Street and used a stun gun on him, police said in a news release.
Officers who surrounded the house around 2:40 a.m. saw Singh holding a large knife. He refused repeated orders to leave the home, and two attempts to stun him through an open window were unsuccessful, police said.
Singh has a prior felony conviction and is not legally permitted to possess a firearm. He was also found to be in possession of crack cocaine, powder cocaine and a small amount of marijuana, police said.
He was committed to Lancaster County Prison on drug offenses and charges of simple assault and recklessly endangering. His bail was set at $300,000.
The woman was not injured.
