Police have identified a man who allegedly fired a gun at probation officers in Harrisburg on Wednesday night.
Franklyn Tavares-Gonzalez, 25, has been charged with aggravated assault, reckless endangerment, and firing a weapon in the city, police said in a news release.
The Dauphin County Adult Probation Officers were traveling in the 1400 block of Vernon Street when Tavares-Gonzalez allegedly fired shots while driving behind them, police said.
A handgun was recovered from his pickup truck when he was arrested without incident in the area of S. 17th and Berryhill streets.
No one was injured and no shots were fired by any law enforcement officers.
