Man sought for robberies in Camp Hill, Hampden Township

Police believe the same man is responsible for robberies at a Camp Hill gas station and a Hampden Township store.

Hampden Township police said the unknown man robbed the Rite-Aid at 4957 Carlisle Pike around 5:50 a.m. Thursday, and he is suspected in the robbery of the Sunoco at 32nd and Market streets Wednesday evening.

At the Rite-Aid, he approached the sales counter to purchase a soft drink and cigarettes, then claimed to have a weapon as he demanded cash from the register.

Police believe he fled on a motorcycle.

He was described as a white man in his 40’s, with eyeglasses, a slender build and a mustache. He was wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt.
