Burger King in Lemoyne robbed at gunpoint

Police are looking for the armed robber who held up the Burger King in Lemoyne.

West Shore Regional police said a man entered the restaurant at 407 S. Third Street and displayed a handgun around 9:25 p.m. Wednesday.

He then fled west on Lowther Street toward Interstate 83.

Police have released surveillance photos so that someone may recognize the robber. They said he is considered armed and dangerous.

The armed robbery is the third in Lemoyne this month. A gunman held up the Turkey Hill at 438 S. Third Street on Aug. 4 and the Sunoco gas station at S. 10th and Lowther streets was robbed by a man with a pistol Sunday night.

Anyone with information is asked to call West Shore Regional police at 717-238-9676.
