A Gettysburg man died after a three-vehicle crash that injured five other people on Route 30 in Fayetteville.
State police in Chambersburg said 51-year-old Thomas E. Titus went into cardiac arrest after his 2005 Hyundai Elantra was struck by an oncoming driver shortly before 8 a.m. Friday.
He was transported to Chambersburg Hospital and pronounced dead.
The driver who crashed into Titus, 63-year-old Paul R. Williams of Chambersburg, was flown to York Hospital.
Police said Williams was traveling east on Route 30 when he drifted into the westbound lane at the intersection of Mt. View Avenue.
His 2014 Honda Civic struck the Hyundai and a 2004 Suzuki XL7 driven by 33-year-old Lynaya M. Daywalt of South Mountain, injuring her and three young passengers.
Daywalt was also flown to York Hospital.
Her passengers, two 15-year-olds and a 12-year-old, were transported to Chambersburg Hospital for treatment of minor injuries, police said.
