A Hummelstown man was arrested after police said he threatened to shoot someone in a rap video he posted on Facebook.
Laron Darnell Wilson Jr., 21, was charged last week with terroristic threats and false ID to law enforcement, according to borough police.
Wilson allegedly posted a video in which he was holding a gun while rapping about shooting another man at the FFO carnival.
According to the criminal complaint, Wilson told police the other man had threatened to shoot him. He said he posted the video to scare the other man and let him know he was not afraid.
Wilson was arrested after police determined he was 21 years old, not 17 as he claimed, and that he had two active warrants out of the Dauphin County Sheriff’s Office.
After he was handcuffed, he allegedly told the arresting officer he didn’t know who he was messing with. He told the officer his crew would take over the town with one phone call, the complaint states.
He was jailed in Dauphin County Prison on $100,000 bail.
Police said at no time was a weapon on the carnival grounds and there was no threat to the public at any time.
