Harrisburg man arrested for child pornography

A Harrisburg man is accused of downloading child pornography while at work.

The International Crimes Against Children task force alerted Swatara Police that Eugene Ludington, 29, has been downloading child pornography while he was working as the night manager at the Marriott Town Place Suites on Friendship Road.

Police say while serving a search warrant on Thursday, Ludington confessed to Detectives that he had been downloading child pornography for several years. Officials also found a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia in Ludington’s room.

Ludington is charged with sexual abuse of children, 200 counts of possession of child pornography, 10 counts of sexual abuse of children and 10 counts of dissemination of child pornography. He’s also charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

He was arraigned at the Dauphin County Booking Center and remanded to Dauphin County Prison on $250,000.00 straight bail.
