Police in Fairview Township, York County have made an arrest in a credit card fraud investigation from last month.
According to police, on July 3rd, a woman used her credit card at the Hess Express of Fishing Creek Road.
Police say she accidentally left the card at the pump, it was then used without her authorization at around 6:15 the same day.
Police were provided surveillance pictures which showed a female suspect.
On July 7th, police were called again to a report of the credit card being used without consent.
Further investigation showed the woman in the picture did not commit the crime, but were able to determine the clerk on duty at the time was the alleged offender.
Police arrested 28 year old Rodrecus Capers, he’s charged with 1 count of forgery, 1 count of theft by deception, and 3 separate counts of access device fraud.
