Lancaster man stabbed son with pliers, police say

A Lancaster man was arrested after after police say he stabbed his adult son with a pair of needle-nose pliers.

William E. McCracken was arrested following a domestic dispute Wednesday afternoon at a home in the first block of New Dorwalt Street, city police said in a news release.

McCracken allegedly caused three superficial puncture wounds to his son’s body and two scratches to his arm.

He was charged with simple assault and jailed in Lancaster County Prison on $15,000 bail.
