Police in Lancaster County are investigating after they say someone stole a charity clothing donation box.
East Hempfield Township Police say the theft occurred between July 22 and July 25 on the 2700-block of Columbia Avenue.
The donation box is described as metal and blue. It belongs to a New York bases leasing company that provides large clothing collection bins commonly seen outside of area businesses to charities.
The loss is $600, according to police. There is word yet on which charity the bin was collecting for.
