ABC 27.2 to air classic ‘Doctor Who’

The long-running British television series Doctor Who is about to start a new season, and now fans of the time-traveling cult show can enjoy classic episodes on ABC 27’s digital sub-channel, Retro TV.

The classic episodes will begin airing next week.

Retro TV will be showcasing the series’ classic run, featuring the first seven incarnations of the Doctor.

Doctor Who began airing on the BBC in 1963 and holds the Guinness Book of World Records title as the longest-running science-fiction television show in the world.

Fans of the science-fiction classic can find two episodes of Doctor Who back-to-back every weeknight at 8:00 p.m., and a two-hour encore block on Saturday evenings beginning at 6 p.m.
