Police say physical evidence has linked several incidents where homes and vehicles were damaged by gunfire early Wednesday in West Hanover, Lower Paxton and Swatara townships in Dauphin County.

Lower Paxton Police Lt. Gary Seefeldt said Thursday there’s no doubt the crimes were committed by the same person or group of people.

Seefeldt said no additional incidents have occurred since Wednesday morning, but three more vehicles were discovered to be damaged in the 5500 block of Allentown Boulevard.

Lower Paxton police were already investigating damage caused by shotgun pellets to several tow trucks at Mars Towing at 5510 Allentown Boulevard and a home in the 800 block of Nyes Road.

At least three homes and several vehicles were hit by someone firing a 12-gauge shotgun in the 7000 block of Devonshire Heights Road and on Sunset Road in West Hanover Township, and Swatara Township police said a house in the 400 block of Nyes Road was damaged by gunfire.

No injuries were reported.
