Zack Trostle was was sleeping when his wife came into the bedroom around 1:30 a.m. Trostle says they heard two loud noises in front of their Lower Allen Township home.
They ran outside and found both of their cars parked on Lisburn Road were damaged. It appears both are a total loss. Zack’s motorcycle was hit, but will need just a few parts.
Township police said they are looking for a blue Jeep Laredo with major damage on the passenger side. Investigators believe the vehicle may have traveled into Fairview Township after the crash.
Trostle said the hit-and-run is a major setback because one of his cars was paid off and the other vehicle was almost paid off.
He said family and friends have offered to help.
“All morning through Facebook, through phone calls, through text messages, they are like, ‘do you need my car,’ ” Trostle said. “There are good people out there who want to help.”
