A third man accused in a shooting death in Lebanon last summer has been returned to Pennsylvania to face charges, city police announced Friday.
Jones Torres-Cintron, 24, was extradited to Lebanon last night and committed to the county prison without bail.
He was arrested in Puerto Rico last month for the killing of 33-year-old Juan Rodriguez, who died after he was shot several times at 9th and Mifflin streets the night of August 3.
His co-defendants, 36-year-old David Rivera and 27-year-old Jorge Roque Jr., both of Lebanon, were arrested in February.
Police allege that Rivera shot Rodriguez over a debt, while Roque drove the vehicle used in the shooting and Torres-Cintron was a passenger.
Each is charged with criminal homicide, conspiracy to commit homicide, persons not to possess firearms, possession of a firearm without a license, perjury and tampering with evidence.
